Contract: Three-year fixed term, full-time (35 hours per week)
Responsible to: Kerrier Rural Dean (Team Rector)

Join the Kerrier Deanery Ministry Team as we work with our congregations and vibrant communities. Our mission is to bring Christ’s love and life into our diverse deanery, and we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our pioneering Ministry Team.
About the Role:
As the Children, Youth, and Families Coordinating Minister, you will develop and lead programmes for young families and teenagers across 16 parishes. Your role is to empower congregations to create spaces where young people and families thrive spiritually and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Raise up and train volunteers: Find the people God is calling to work with Children and Families and help them realise their vocation in God’s Kingdom
Families & Caregivers: Enhance parish offerings for families, develop family-centred resources, and support initiatives like Wild Church.
Schools: Build partnerships with local schools, chair the CYF Ministry and Mission Group, and oversee engagement activities.
Youth Work: Engage with youth organisations, develop programs for spiritual and social growth, and focus on evening and weekend activities.
Ministry Team: Lead Sunday worship, participate in team meetings, ensure adherence to safeguarding procedures, and assist with fundraising.
Person Specification:
Essential: Degree or equivalent, team management experience, success in CYF ministry, knowledge of educational landscape, strong communication and administrative skills, and a self-starter, access to own transport.
Desirable: Full clean driving license and own vehicle, rural community experience, grant funding experience, ordained in the Church of England.
Requirements:
Practising Christian (occupational requirement)
Commitment to safeguarding policies
An Enhanced DBS check will be required
