Contactless Giving

Use of cards is ever increasing and many people don’t carry cash these days. Young people in particular are using cards more and more for payment. Even if people carry cash it will be small amounts and they are likely to donate more by card.

A card reader is a useful tool to enable people to give. It can be left in the church for visitors to donate, or it can be used at baptisms, weddings and funerals where people want to give a donation but do not have cash. It is also an excellent tool for donations at concerts, church fetes or big events. A variety of card readers are available through parish buying.
