Generosity is at the heart of our faith. The generosity we show is testament to a lived-out faith and our generous God.

This Harvest we invite your church to take part in Generosity Week. Together we will celebrate the generosity that has helped us through these difficult times, reflect on God’s generosity to us and explore how we can grow generosity in our churches.

The Diocese of Truro will be holding its Generosity Week from October 10 – 17, 2021. Each day we will be sharing a podcast and daily activity on social media to help us reflect on God’s generosity and activate it in our daily lives. We recommend listening to an episode each day over Generosity Week, perhaps when going for a short walk or over a cup of tea during a break.

At your church, you may choose to join in with the Diocesan Generosity Week, or you can choose another week that suits you to hold your own. There are a range of free resources for your church to use including service and worship materials, a podcast series on generosity in our churches, generosity reflections and guidance on engaging the wider community with generosity through ‘Living Faith’ – two new discipleship sessions for small groups. You may wish to use all of the resources available or just a selection. They can be found at https://www.churchofengland.org/generosityweek
