This cluster of parishes is on a journey to become a new benefice with a newly created parish in north Launceston. Thus we are seeking someone who will:

  • Love God and love people and seek to bring the two together;
  • Offer wisdom and experience to the new pattern of oversight and local ministry, further developing a cohesive and collaborative way of working across the parishes.
  • Contribute experience of enabling growth and will invest in developing leaders, lay and
  • Bring strategic leadership, taking on the role of Rural Dean (for an initial term of 3 years) as the deanery learns new ways of working.

WE OFFER:

  • A diverse cluster of parishes in welcoming communities, ready to embrace a new chapter of parish life;
  • The beauty of rural villages, glorious moorland and market town – the gateway to Cornwall;
  • A support package for Rural Dean activities;
