Net Zero support for church schools
The Diocese of Truro has welcome Rory Quinn as Cut Carbon Support Officer for Schools.
Rory has joined the education team and will be working with schools and school leaders as they journey towards net zero. Rory’s support will be around the formation of decarbonisation plans, providing help to access funding, and developing networks to share best practice in carbon reduction.
Prior to joining the diocese, Rory worked in education including as Assistant principal of a primary school and a secondary school maths teacher. He also brings a wealth of environmental experience with him having just completed an MSc in Environmental Consultancy at the University of Plymouth.
