The Friends of Truro Cathedral present an illustrated talk by Dr Michael Tedder in the Assembly Hall of the Old Cathedral School.
Any study of the first 50 years of Truro Diocese encounters some remarkable women who made a real difference to its history. Few of them are well remembered today but this talk includes stories to celebrate some of them.
Michael Tedder spent his professional career in further and adult education at the college in St Austell. His research included a doctoral study of the learning lives of Access students and he was a research fellow for two major education research projects at Exeter University. Since retirement, Michael has taken a particular research interest in the early bishops of Truro.
