Advent Adventures

Advent Adventures is a workshop designed for children in Years 1 and 2, but could be adapted for EYFS.

The workshop explores the Christmas story, discusses advent as a time of preparation including how Christians get ready for Christmas and gets the children doing practical activities involving craft, drama and storytelling.

It is popular with schools as it covers learning objectives in the Cornwall RE syllabus concerned with Christmas. It works best during the second half of the Autumn Term (November/December).
