Church and School

Schools are at the heart of the ministry of the church, they are places devoted to growing and discovering. Promoting the Church of England Vision for Education, and within this working with schools to build strong communities of hope, wisdom and dignity is the work of parishes across our diocese.

Churches connect with schools in many different ways, leading, serving, teaching, praying and worshipping, to name a few.

The church house team can help with making connections, training, guidance and with resources. We are particularly keen to grow and support work with secondary schools where the church tends to be under-represented.
