Diocesan Synod

Diocesan Synod is a key forum for discussion, debate and consultation about issues relating to the life of the church and society in Cornwall. It is made up of elected lay people and clergy representing the 12 deaneries, together with the bishops.

It has a formal role in approving the annual budget, acts as a bridge between Deanery Synods and General Synod and considers important matters relating to the diocese.

Papers for the next synod will uploaded to the relevant section of the Truro Diocesan Synod Meetings folder (the list on the right hand side) in advance of the meeting.
