This course is for anyone who has never used social media, is a new user or wants to get started on using social media for their church/ parish. The course will cover the basics of the most popular social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram; How to set up a social media account; Using a social media account for personal and/or parish use; Internet safety; Dealing with negative attention and a brief introduction to analytics. This course is best run in small groups and your own laptop or mobile device will be needed. This course is available 1-to-1.

This short 45 minute session is aimed anyone who is using the internet and email either as a first timer or regular user looking for a refresher. It is suitable for PCCs, parish teams, congregations, or church groups.

Church House in London provides training to those within dioceses either centrally or locally as agreed with individual diocese.
