“I have always believed in God, but from an early age I have struggled with eating disorders and addiction. These, along with severe depression and acute anxiety, have at times harmed others as well as myself.

I am ashamed to say that during the darkest times I have lied, I have stolen and I have, at the lowest ebb, tried to take my own life.

Tony Ingleby and all at St Martin’s Church in Liskeard have at many times been my life-line. I am so grateful for the help and support and the wonderful welcome I continue to receive.

For a long time I felt I wasn’t worth re-deeming, but through re-affirming my faith I now know that God is helping and guiding me so that I can help others, and by hearing other Christian’s stories this consolidates my faith further.”
