St Piran’s Day parade in Truro – a joyous event and even the weather played nice!
Bishop Philip was delighted to join this year’s St Piran’s Day parade in Truro.
This year, Truro composer and Truro Male Voice Choir musical director, Russell Pascoe, was commissioned to write a new march.
It was performed by local musicians, including members of Bagas Crowd and Gorsedh Piper, Robin Holmes. And with the support of Cornwall Dance School, local primary school children were dancing all along the way.
It was, as ever, a joyous event – and the rain stayed away for a few hours!
Thanks to Paul at PR4Photos for some lovely shots as ever.
