It will then that organisers will be praying for sun and warmth to bring them into full flower in time.

The Vyvyan Coach House has received a facelift, ready for the hundreds of people who will enjoy the refreshments.Pasties from Gear Farm and homemade soup will be available at lunchtime on Saturday and Sunday and tea or coffee and homemade cakes will be available all day every day.

The weekend will include Christine Robertson playing dulcimer and singing medieval and folk music, Cornish male voice singers Thraw’ed Together, Richard Collington playing classical guitar, Jade Hamezelou playing harp, Maen Voes Choir from St Keverne and Andrew Woods playing the organ.

For those interested in history and architecture there will be guided tours of the church. On Sunday evening at 5pm there will be a Celtic evening service when the guest preacher is Bishop Chris.
