Pilgrim Explorers

Welcome to Pilgrim Explorers!

Here are some exciting resources for children, schools and families in Cornwall.

Pilgrim Explorers is a series of 8 micro pilgrimages ideally suited to Primary School children. Each one will take you on a journey of discovery as you find out about local history, geography, conservation, saints and legends. You will follow a colourful map to show you the way, looking for lots of interesting features on your journey. Each micro pilgrimage will also help you to reflect on nature and on the Creator God as you walk, look, listen and think. You can be creative with natural materials and perhaps take part in a Beach Scavenger Hunt. You will have an opportunity to sit quietly, reflect and pray if you want to and then share what you have made or seen using our Instagram account.

Each micro pilgrimage is between 2 and 7 miles long. Some are on the coast path, others in and around towns, including Fowey, Gunwalloe and Crantock. They are all ideal for a school group or family day out, with clearly marked routes and easy instructions to follow. So take your pick, download and print one and go on a school or family pilgrimage!
