Eco School’s Conference and Activity Day

We held the second annual Eco School’s Conference and Activity Day on Wednesday 4th March.

Clare Green, Schools’ Creation Care Officer said “It was lovely to see so many eco schools at the conference. It only happens once a year when schools all get together and talk about what others are doing.

“It was good to see so many children keen to learn and help the planet.  I was overwhelmed by the knowledge and enthusiasm of our young people, what a blessing to spend the day with them.”

Cross of St Piran Awards for Education

Celebrations took place on Saturday 7th March when 11 Church Schools Award winners were presented with a Cross of St Piran.  Each year the Cross of St Piran Award service is held to thank those who go above and beyond.

This year, Bishop of Truro, The Rt Revd David Williams, presented the awards during a special service in front of a packed congregation at St Piran’s Church, Perranzabuloe, on Saturday March 7.
