DAC & Closed Churches Committee

Chair – Paul Holden

Statutory body that advises on proposals for works to church buildings, churchyards and furnishings; and the care and development of churches. Closed churches oversees the management of closed churches


Diocesan Board of Education

Chair – Karen Bond

Statutory body with responsibilities for church schools in our diocese, and for RE and collective worship


Diocesan Environment Committee

Chair – Mike Sturgess

Oversees the work of the Diocese of Truro as we ‘Cherish creation, cut carbon, speak up’


Diocesan Safeguarding Scrutiny Committee

Chair – Justine Hosking

Scrutinises, supports and provides constructive challenge having due regard to the National Church’s Practice Guidance on safeguarding in overseeing the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements within Truro Diocese and Truro Cathedral.


Equity, Diversity,  Inclusion & Justice Board

Chair – Lee  Moscato

Oversees the work of the Diocese of Truro as it seeks to ‘become more diverse and hospitable communities that reflect those we seek to serve’


Glebe Management Committee

Chair – William Trinick

Responsible for oversight of the management and development of the Glebe portfolio (land owned by the Diocese of Truro)


Investment Management Committee

Chair – Simon Smart 

Responsible for the management of investments on behalf of the Diocese of Truro


Mission & Pastoral Committee

Chair – Christopher Clark KC

Considers proposals for pastoral supervision and care, particularly pastoral schemes (reorganisation of a parish) and patronage rights


Programme Board for Change & Renewal

Chair – Bishop David

Oversees the work of the Diocesan of Truro in leading change and the delivery of the Diocesan Plan


Property

Chair – Bob Foulkes

Responsible for oversight of the management and development of the property portfolio (parsonages and other houses owned by the Diocese of Truro)
