Cohorts of clergy meet over a period of 12 – 18 months to discern God’s plans for their future ministry and mission. Each cohort attend a series of colleges; residential or individual days depending on the programme.

We’re currently running three AMD programmes:

  • AMD Programme for Ministers with Oversight Responsibilities
  • AMD Programme for Clergy in Posts of First Responsibility
  • Preparing to Retire Well and Beyond

The Accompanied Ministry Development team also includes a number of Transitions Advisers who work with parishes and benefices in transition as they seek a vision for the future of their churches and develop their parish profiles prior to advertising for a new clergyperson where appropriate.
