Workshops with schools

Welcoming young people into our churches is a joy and a blessing. A great way to do that is by linking with your local school to foster a sense of community and belonging. These workshops are a great way to do just that. Designed around the school curriculum, the workshops provide both a sound learning experience and a chance to learn outside the classroom. Most of all, it gives children and young people an opportunity to see churches as welcoming and friendly communities of people rather than simply beautiful buildings.

The workshop approach is easy to run, practical and enjoyable and can cater for large numbers of children. Teachers like the workshops because they cover curriculum areas that need to be covered, children like them because they are fun.
