I was brought up going to church in a small village in South Wales where I got confirmed. I always believed in God and really felt God with me at this time. It was not until I went to University and started going to the Christian Union and making Christians friends that I realised that other people seemed to have more of an experience of God than I had. My faith was more in my head than heartfelt. One of my friends always seemed to have a joyfulness and peace about her, and she invited me to Spring Harvest. Whilst I was there I was challenged to give my whole life to God and I was filled with an amazing sense of God’s peace and joy. I was at University for a total of four years and I was heavily involved in the Christian union and this became the foundation for my Christian life.
