The Diocese of Truro consists of 217 parishes and is one of the 42 dioceses of the Church of England. The administration of the diocese is undertaken by staff at the Diocesan Office, based in Church House, which also acts as a resource centre for the parishes and their communities, providing support and advice on mission, social responsibility, finance, schools, buildings, future planning, publications and publicity, funding and grant applications, disability issues, land and property management. The role of the Senior Office Administrator is to ensure effective and efficient delivery of support services to the wider diocese including overseeing the day to day activities of the diocesan administration team.
This role requires someone who is able to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities whilst providing support and supervision for the administration team. With excellent communications skills and exceptional organisational skills this is an opportunity to be a key part of a strong team and would suit someone with experience of managing and leading successful administrative teams.
