Quiet Day ‘Sing a new song’

9th January 2016 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

9 January: Quiet Day ‘Sing a new song’

At Epiphany House, Truro, 10am – 4pm.

Led by Janette Mullet. The instruction to ‘sing to the Lord a new song’ comes many times throughout the Old Testament. But is it really possible to sing a song of thanksgiving in a world torn apart with disease, poverty, terrorism, violence, slavery, famine and natural disaster? We will explore these questions, look at songs new and old, look at biblical precedent and work towards responding in our own way to what God has done for us. There is no need to be a musician, or a good singer to participate, just come with an open heart. 10am – 4pm, cost £18 including a soup lunch.
