Handel’s Messiah, Three Spires Singers with Devon, Baroque, Saturday 12 December at 6pm, St Endellion ChurchThree Spires Singers and conductor Christopher Gray will be joined by an outstanding quartet of soloists: Grace Davidson (soprano), Benjamin Williamson (countertenor), Nicholas Hawker (tenor) and Stephen Kennedy (baritone); and by renowned early music ensemble Devon Baroque, the principal orchestra in the South West specialising in baroque and early classical music played on period instruments, who will add an enchanting authenticity to a performance that will be moving, dramatic and uplifting: an unmissable occasion.
Chair of the choir, Lora Wicks, commented “St Endellion Church gives a wonderful atmosphere to musical occasions, and it’s not often that such distinguished soloists and players come together in north Cornwall to perform this much loved work. If you only go to one Messiah a decade, make it this one”.
Tickets are £15 for Nave seats and £12 for the side aisles (and half price for under 18s).
Tickets are available from the Hall for Cornwall Box Office telephone 01872 262466 or to book online at Click here
