Bishop’s CMED Day – Baptism Matters

The ‘Baptism Matters’ project is part of the national Church of England’s initiative to make occasional office ministry more effective. Resources and teaching are based around the results of extensive research conducted with families who recently had their children baptised.
During the day we will:
- learn more about the research findings,
- discover exciting new resources to help support our ministry of baptism (both printed and on-line),
- explore the use of the new baptismal liturgy options, and
- see new baptism preparation resources recently published.
Clergy are invited to bring a lay person who assists in the church’s baptismal ministry. Refreshments and lunch will be provided therefore it is essential that people book their place (and that of their lay colleague) in the usual manner by using the web link at the bottom of this page or booking form.
Revd Dr Sandra Millar is Head of Projects and Development for the Archbishops’ Council of the Church of England.
