On Saturday the 4th of November The Revd Professor Andrew Lewis will give an illustrated talk on Martin Luther in St Tudy Church, 2:30pm-4:30pm.
Professor Lewis as Professor of Comparative Legal History at the University of London, has been immersed in the topic for many years. He writes ‘We do not know whether Professor Martin Luther actually nailed his 95 theses, (in effect an invitation to an academic seminar), to the door of Wittenburg church five hundred years ago in October 1517, but the effect was to create a moment in history. We shall explore the religious, cultural and social consequences of Luther’s action, especially in the context of the Church of England.’
