‘A working building through history’

A talk on the architecture, history and restorations of Stithians parish church by Revd Canon Michael Warner MPhil. FSA, author of
‘A Time to Build’’ Signposts to the building, restoration, enhancement and maintenance of
Cornwall’s Anglican churches and mission rooms.

Taking place one Wednesday 12th June 2024 at 7pm in Stithians church.

Michael was the vicar of St Stythians between 1983 and 1993. He took particular interest in the architecture of the church and its restoration in the 19th century by J.P. St Aubyn.
This talk was originally scheduled for last year, but postponed due to illness.

Everyone welcome
Admission is free but donations will be accepted towards the upkeep of the church building, the outhouse and the graveyards.

Tea and coffee and light refreshments will be available for purchase.
