This CMD session will highlight how to build a project in your church for your community. We will look at a community-asset based approach, the effect of this on sustainability and impact for your community, funding, and the benefits of evaluation. It will be discussion led with opportunities to discuss ideas, and case studies of social action project success.
This session will be led by Transformation Cornwall’s Operations Director, Charlotte Butler. Charlotte has worked across various fields with a focus on fighting social injustice, in both the UK and worldwide; from developing education programmes on creative entrepreneurship and sustainable development, to working with survivors of modern slavery.
Transformation Cornwall offers churches and organisations alike, across Cornwall, project support which can include anything from clarifying the vision of your project, developing (and sustaining) your project team, identifying prospective funders, developing consultation events in your community, organisational governance, finding data to support your work and help with evaluation.
Ensuring that children and young people as well as adults are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our diocese life.
