Churches Count on Nature runs from Saturday 5th June – Sunday 13th June 2021, and is all about local people discovering and recording the wonderful plants and wildlife in their local church yard. This is an ecumenical partnership project between A Rocha UK, the Church of England Environment Programme, and Caring for Gods Acre.
Participating churches will be encouraged to act for wildlife by recording nature in their church yards, spaces and burial grounds or nearby land. Express your interest in taking part here
Caring for God’s Acre has produced a Starter Guide with excellent illustrations of churchyard wildlife. See CfGA-Starter-Guide-2020.pdf (caringforgodsacre.org.uk)
Ensuring that children and young people as well as adults are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our diocese life.
