Folk-Carol Concert at Paul Church, Penzance on Saturday 5th of January, 7pm. The concert is free but a collection will be taken for the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust whose founder, Baroness Caroline Cox, will also be at the event to describe her work helping refugees and victims of modern slavery in Sudan, Nigeria, Myanmar and Syria.
‘She is a pioneer in the field of modern slavery and has risked her life countless times to rescue women and girls from slavery in Africa (plus her amazing NGO work in Sudan, South Sudan, Myanmar and Syria).’
Ensuring that children and young people as well as adults are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our diocese life.
