On Wednesday the 26th of September there will be a multi-sponsored one-day exhibition at St John’s Hall, Penzance, to celebrate the International Day of Older Persons.
With the number of older people in Cornwall being higher than the UK average, 30 organisations have come together to address concerns affecting the elderly. These include finance, safety, health, accommodation, hearing loss, loneliness, diet and carers.
Local people of all ages are invited, refreshments are provided. Those needing help with transport should call Margaret Ford on 01209 710766 or 07974728435. Pick ups will be from Mousehole, Newlyn, St Buryan, St Levan, Sennen, St Just, Pendeen and Heamoor.
