From Ascension Day to Pentecost, (25th May to 4th June) the Archbishop of Canterbury is calling all Christians across the world to pray. During this special time the church at St Stephen will be open, we will have opportunities to join in prayer together, to pray alone in the stillness of our beautiful church, and to try different and creative ways of praying that perhaps we have not previously thought to try.
On 21st May there will be a special service at St Stephen with other churches from Deanery service with Bishop Tim at 6pm, to which all are welcome. You can find out more about the Archbishop’s call to prayer and watch some videos here. More information and full details will be circulated nearer the time.
Ensuring that children and young people as well as adults are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our diocese life.
