ExploreChurches.org is a new website provided by the National Churches Trust and it highlights and promotes churches across the country.

Visiting churches is one of the most popular pastimes in the country, for both British and foreign visitors, as churches are literally ‘treasure houses’ of heritage, history and community.

The potential for our churches in Cornwall to attract visitors and for those visits to be enjoyable and worthwhile as well as being an opportunity for mission and fund-raising is huge.

In July the National Churches Trust are planning to launch a complete section for Cornwall and promote our beautiful and unique churches countrywide.  If your church would like to be a part of this opportunity (at no charge!), look out for the forms that will be sent out in the next couple of weeks to churchwardens across the diocese asking for some basic information and a few photographs for the website.
