Canon Sings St Mark’s Gospel

Canon Alan Rowell has found a particular ministry in singing, from memory, his own translation of St Mark’s Gospel.

The performance takes just under two hours, including a tea-break half-way through.  There are obvious advantages for Christians in hearing the whole Gospel story in one go.  It has also roused interest in those who normally give little thought to the Christian Faith.

Alan has performed in churches, homes, and several times out-doors!  He prefers smallish numbers, being easier to relate to all present.
