CMED Course – Meeting Christ Through Art

The creative arts can provide a rich resource for enabling encounter with our creative God. The day workshop will give space and time for praying with art, and being attentive to what Jesus reveals about our own walk with him.
We will also explore how art and image can help others, (those both within and outside our churches) to consider and encounter God in their everyday lives.
Please bring along a reference for a piece of art (which can be music, poetry, prose, drama – as well as the visual arts) that connects you with the Divine.
Colin is a fine artist and Church Army officer, works as ‘Creative Arts Evangelist’ amongst the artistic community and is based in Redruth
10am Coffee, 10.30am Start, 3pm Finish.
