The Giving Shop opened in Penzance in November 2012 and planned to stay open until Christmas. It was so well-received by the local community that it is still open and thriving, writes stewardship and MAPping adviser, Rebecca Evans.

However, the ’empty’ shop premises out of which The Giving Shop was operating, have been re-let recently and the enterprise has now been offered the chance to relocate to a new site in the Wharfside Shopping Centre in Penzance. It will re-open on Tuesday 24 June.

As The Giving Shop re-opens, it will be looking for:

  • stacking chairs
  • collapsible tables
  • shelving.

So if anyone is aware of any churches or halls that might be able to provide these items, please let me, Rebecca Evans, know.
