Celebrations at Cross of St Piran Awards
Celebrations took place over the weekend when more than 30 people were presented with a Cross of St Piran.
Each year the Cross of St Piran Award service is held to thank those who go above and beyond.
This year, Bishop of Truro, The Rt Revd David Williams, presented the awards during a special service at St Piran’s Church, Perranzabuloe, on Saturday March 7.
The church was filled with the recipients and their supporters. They were given the accolade for efforts in one of a number of categories including creation care, care of church buildings, local leadership, long service, support for community initiatives and schools work and more.
