People have less than two weeks to help raise life-changing funds for charities across the diocese through the Cornish Christmas Giving Catalogue.

Diocese of Truro staff are already overwhelmed by the generosity of people in the diocese this festive season – it has been revealed more than £8,000 has been raised since The Cornish Christmas Giving Catalogue launched in October.

Now, the aspiration is to see more than £10,000 collected before the online donations’ deadline arrives on Tuesday, 23rd December 2025.

People are being encouraged to click to donate online to help one or more of the charities in the catalogue, which can use the vital funds to help others in our community.

This year there are 20 local groups and charities to choose from including West Cornwall Woman’s Aid, Georgia’s Voice, Wild, YMCA Cornwall and Carefree Cornwall.

Rosey Sanders, Operations and Project Assistant at Diocese of Truro, said: “Each and every donation is appreciated and can make a real difference to individuals in ways that alter difficult situations into change and hope.

“If you are unsure what to give someone for Christmas, maybe a donation from the Catalogue would be perfect – you can also ask for a donation certificate which you can give as a gift.”

People can also donate by post by downloading the order form here – the deadline for this will be 18th December, 2025.

This year the Rt Revd David Williams, Bishop of Truro, and Clinton Cameron Sealy Jnr., Operations Director at Transformation Cornwall, contributed to the introduction pages of the catalogue.
