Remember our Child service
For the last 30 years, Truro Cathedral has welcomed parents, carers, family members and friends to the Remember our Child service. This year the service takes place on Sunday, May 4, from 2pm to 3.30pm and will be led by Bishop Graham James.
The service uses song, prayer, silence, music, and the lighting of candles to express sadness and hope. All are welcome to this poignant pastoral service, those of faith, those of different faiths and anyone simply looking for support. Refreshments will be served in the Chapter House after the service.
For those that can’t attend, the service will also be live-streamed on Truro Cathedral’s website and YouTube channel
Family members can submit their child’s name to be read out via an online submission form. You can find the form here.
There is also the opportunity to submit a child’s name on the day via a paper form that can be found at the welcome table at the back of the cathedral before the service starts.
