A service celebrating Lay Ministry will take place at Truro Cathedral on March 9.

The annual service, which starts at 11am, recognises and celebrates the work of the diocese’s commissioned lay ministers – our Local Worship Leaders, Local Pastoral Ministers, Local Pioneer Leaders and Local Lay Leaders.

During the service, which will be led by Bishop Hugh, there will be testimony shared by some of these lay ministers. New lay ministers will be commissioned into their roles and some of those actively serving their parishes will be recommissioned.

All are welcome to attend and support these valuable parish leaders.
