Help shape the future of ministry training in the South West
The South West Ministry Training Course (SWMTC) – one of the theological colleges for the dioceses of Exeter and Truro – is looking for an interim Principal to guide us through an important review process over the period of a year.
At SWMTC we describe our work as ‘Theology for Living’ – a focus which combines high academic standards with a commitment to ‘adventurous faith, missional hope and grounded love’. As a key provider, we are now part of a wide-ranging review of the pattern of formation and training needed in the South West for the next 10 years.
This is a very significant moment for us and we need a wise and seasoned leader to help us navigate it. A background at a senior level in education, a church setting or the non-profit world would be useful. Above all you will need the management experience, people skills and institutional intelligence to make sure that our inspiring vision and motivated team continue to make a difference.
The job description and application form are available here.
