A celebration of all that is Reader Ministry will take place at Truro Cathedral on October 1, 2022.

This year’s service will take on a different pattern and will be very much about celebrating the work of Readers as they go about their work teaching, preaching and enabling everyday faith as community theologians.

With the effects of covid on the training programme still being felt, there will not be any Readers licensed or Admitted during the service, this year.

There will be a service of the Eucharist with Bishop Hugh Nelson and Revd Canon Jane Kneebone, who is retiring as Director of Reader Training, will be preaching. The Bodmin and Trigg Minor Choir will be singing and Readers will once again play a leading role in the service.

Everyone is welcome to attend the cathedral. The service starts at 11am.
