2022’s Petertide Ordinations took place at Truro Cathedral this weekend.

On Friday evening The Rt Revd Hugh Nelson, Bishop of St Germans, lead the service to ordain six people as deacons. This was followed by a service on Saturday morning lead by The Rt Revd Philip Mounstephen, Bishop of Truro, who ordained six people as Priest.

Leading up to the services, those being ordained had spent a week on retreat with the bishops and archdeacons. The week was not without drama however, as two of those being priested – David and Hannah Baylor – became parents just two days before they went on to be ordained priests, complete with baby in attendance!
