The Anglican Communion is called to a week of prayer and repentance during the fifth week of Lent, from Sunday, March 29 to Sunday, April 5.

In a letter to diocesan bishops, the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby said: “Clearly Lent is a busy time and there are many demands on us from different group. I do hope … that in this year of the Lambeth Conference, we can take some time to pray and reflect on our own relationships with others both in our own church and country and from around the world.”
