This weekend, the Diocese of Truro welcomed seven new Deacons and two new Priests. It has been a wonderful weekend of sunshine, celebration and fulfilment.

The Rt Revd Chris Goldsmith, Bishop of St Germans and the Dean of Truro Cathedral The Very Revd Roger Bush led clergy in both services. On Friday we welcomed:

  • Petertide 2018Revd Graham Adamson, who will serve in the parishes of Redruth with Lanner and Treleigh
  • Revd Linda Garthwaite, who will serve in the parishes of Ludgvan, Marazion, St Hilary and Perranuthnoe
  • Revd Tess Lowe, who will serve in the Lann Pydar Benefice
  • Revd Ben Morgan-Lundie, who will serve in the parish of Budock
  • Revd Alex Sharp, who will serve in the parish of Illogan
  • Revd Richard Wallis, who will serve in the Benefices of Feock, Devoran, Chacewater with St Day and Carharrack, Stithians with Perranarworthal and Gwennap.
  • Revd Stephen Williams, who will serve in the parishes of Blisland with Temple, St Breward and Helland, St Tudy with St Mabyn and Michaelstow.

 

On Saturday, we welcomed Revd Rachel Monie and Revd Ian Guilland as Priests. Rachel will continue to serve with the Atlantic Coast Cluster and Ian with St Austell
