St Agnes Church was a hub of activity on Friday evening as it opened its doors for the annual village late night shopping evening.

Music was provided by children from St Agnes School and a local village choir, and children could take part in a quiz that had them looking all around the church while their parents enjoyed a warming glass of mulled wine.

Church volunteer Charlotte Irwin said: “The singing from the local school children and choir really added to the festive spirit, it was a great evening.”

Donations on the evening were for St Petroc’s charity and over £300 was raised to help those who are homeless in Cornwall.
