The Lizard Lifeboat Station held their annual Lifeboat Carolaire at the beginning of December.

The event involved the whole community including Helston Town Band and Landewednack School Choir, and was compered by Revd Fran Lane and Revd Peter Sharpe from the parish church of Landewednack: St Wynwallow, The Lizard.

As the RNLI lifeboat station is always operational, visitor parking is not available so local business Zoar Garage in St Keverne provide a free mini bus to take visitors to and from the station.

The congregation sang a variety of traditional carols with the school children singing a medley of songs learnt at school, whilst visitors enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies in between songs.
