The Annual Readers’ Service takes place on Saturday, October 1 and all are welcome to attend.

This year’s service, which takes place at Truro Cathedral, will also celebrate the 150th anniversary of Readers Ministry.

Starting at 11am, this year there are four people being admitted and licensed as Readers:

Elizabeth Joyce Davies to serve in the Parish of St Clement
William John Hazelton to serve in the Bodmin Team Ministry
Elizabeth Jane Osborne to serve in the Parish of Roche
Lydia Jane Remick to serve in the Parish of All Saints Highertown and Baldhu

In addition Anthony Le Fevre who had his License earlier in the year will have a formal welcome to the diocese as he goes to serve in the Benefice of Camborne, Tuckingmill and Penponds

Lydia Remick will be the preacher during the service. Lydia will preach with the permission of Bishop Chris as she will not be a Licensed Reader until later in the service.
