A ‘Cornish Camino’ will take place from Saturday and walkers are being invited to join in with all or sections of the 100 mile route.

Starting on July 9 at the Tamar outside Launceston, walkers will go via Altarnun, skirting Bodmin Moor, through St Mabyn then to Truro and finishing at Cape Cornwall on July 17 – a distance of 100 miles.

The walk has been organised by Bob Kirby-Harris from who worships in the St Mabyn, St Tudy and Michaelstow Cluster. Bob decided to organise the walk after receiving the all clear after cancer treatment.

Bob said: “I would be delighted if others would join us for part of the route or even the whole pilgrimage – I have done some preliminary work on places to stay along the way and ways to organise drop-offs and pick-ups.”
