Daily reflection marks beginning of Lent
To mark the beginning of Lent, Penlee Cluster in west Cornwall launched their Lent Shout.
“Walking gently, thinking deeply” is an internet based daily reflection centred around the newly built labyrinth at the Quiet garden at Paul Church in West Penwith. Each day it will feature a person on a life journey and on each Thursday there will be a Journey through Narnia which has been produced by children for children and families to use in Lent.
Revd Sian Yates from Penlee Cluster said: “We are thrilled and excited by the project. The aim is to encounter a commentary which is both profound and gentle with the capacity of being able to be used to benefit a wide range of people who are on their own life and spiritual journey. It is something which can be used by people of faith and no obvious faith.”
