Cathedral Bells Open Day

Truro Cathedral will be awash with bells on Saturday 12  September (11am-4pm) as it holds an Open Day for families and young people to learn more about the bells and bell ringing.

The Truro Diocesan Guild of Ringers will have their brand new portable ‘Mini Ring’ in High Cross to tempt passersby to have a go and inside the cathedral there will be visits to the ringing chamber and the bells, hand bell and hand chime demonstrations, displays, exhibitions and films. For the younger ones there will be a hunt-the-bell trail as well as a bell themed craft table.
