DESCRIPTION:Stithians Parish Church\n‘A working building through history’ \nA talk on the architecture\, history and restorations of Stithians parish church by Revd Canon Michael Warner MPhil. FSA\, author of\n‘A Time to Build’’ Signposts to the building\, restoration\, enhancement and maintenance of\nCornwall’s Anglican churches and mission rooms. \nTaking place one Wednesday 12th June 2024 at 7pm in Stithians church. \nMichael was the vicar of St Stythians between 1983 and 1993. He took particular interest in the architecture of the church and its restoration in the 19th century by J.P. St Aubyn.\nThis talk was originally scheduled for last year\, but postponed due to illness. \nEveryone welcome\nAdmission is free but donations will be accepted towards the upkeep of the church building\, the outhouse and the graveyards. \nTea and coffee and light refreshments will be available for purchase.
